Seller agreement

1. Introduction
This Seller Agreement governs your use of ClapNow’s platform as a seller. By listing items for sale on ClapNow, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
To sell on ClapNow, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid Indian address for shipping
- Provide accurate personal and banking information
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
3. Listing requirements
When listing items, sellers must:
- Provide accurate descriptions and measurements
- Upload clear, authentic photos of the actual item
- Disclose any defects, stains, or damage
- Set fair and reasonable prices
- Only list items they own and have the right to sell
4. Prohibited items
The following items are prohibited on ClapNow:
- Counterfeit or replica items
- Stolen goods
- Items that infringe intellectual property rights
- Hazardous materials
- Items prohibited by Indian law
- Underwear and intimate apparel (unless new with tags)
5. Fees and payments
ClapNow charges a commission of 20% on each successful sale. Payment processing fees may apply. Sellers receive payouts within 3–5 business days after the buyer confirms receipt of the item.
6. Shipping requirements
Sellers must:
- Ship items within 3 business days of sale (or 24 hours for Instant Ship)
- Use trackable shipping methods
- Package items securely to prevent damage
- Provide tracking information promptly
7. Returns and disputes
If a buyer requests a return due to item not as described, sellers must accept the return and refund the buyer. ClapNow mediates disputes and may make final decisions at its discretion.
8. Account termination
ClapNow reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts that violate this agreement, receive excessive complaints, or engage in fraudulent activity.
