By accessing or using Clapnow ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Clapnow is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of pre-owned fashion items. We provide the platform for transactions but do not own, sell, or buy the items listed.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Seller Requirements

• Sellers must complete the verification process before listing items
• All listings must accurately describe the item's condition
• Counterfeit or replica items are strictly prohibited
• Sellers must ship items within the promised timeframe
• Sellers are responsible for applicable taxes on their sales

5. Buyer Responsibilities

• Review listing details and photos carefully before purchasing
• Provide accurate shipping information
• Inspect items promptly upon delivery
• Report any issues within 48 hours of delivery

6. Fees and Payments

Clapnow charges a 10% platform fee on each transaction, which is added to the seller's listed price. Payments are processed securely through our payment partners and held in escrow until delivery is confirmed.

7. Disputes and Refunds

If an item doesn't match the listing description, buyers can open a dispute within 48 hours of delivery. Our team will review evidence from both parties and make a resolution decision. Refunds, when approved, will be processed within 5-7 business days.

8. Prohibited Activities

• Selling counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items
• Misrepresenting item condition or authenticity
• Circumventing platform fees through off-platform transactions
• Harassment or abuse of other users
• Creating fake accounts or reviews
• Any form of fraud or deception

9. Intellectual Property

The Clapnow name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Users retain ownership of their content but grant us a license to display and use it on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

Clapnow acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed. We are not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers beyond our dispute resolution process.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
